When you graduate from the College of Liberal Arts, you'll be prepared for success in almost any profession. You'll be ready to take on a world that doesn't offer easy answers, where ever-changing challenges call for leaders who can think, evaluate and act.
You'll build skills in writing, speaking, understanding, analyzing, creating and innovating that will take you far in any field. You can also find programs, student groups and an academic minor that will help you build leadership skills.
Whether you know exactly what you want to major in or don't have a clue, CLA offers advising, programs, and career and personality assessments to get you started.
At the CLA career services office—known as the Career and Community Learning Center—you'll get help choosing a major or exploring career options for specific majors. They'll also be there to help you when you're ready to start applying for internships, jobs or graduate schools.
So when people ask what you're going to do with your major, you'll be ready for their questions.
