Student Experience

You’re probably wondering what it’s like being a CLA student on the Twin Cities campus. While you'll stay pretty busy with your courses, there are still lots of ways to have fun. Meet some of our students and discover the ways we work and play on campus.

Meet the Students
CLA students study everything from acting to urban studies and are as diverse as the 65 plus majors we offer. Let's introduce you to some of them.

Get Involved
Our campus may be big, but that just means that there’s more of us to love. You'll bump into friendly, familiar faces everyday once you explore your interests and make connections. Share your skills as an outfielder, your talent for getting people organized, your giving spirit, your passion for debate or French conversation, or whatever interests you.

Campus Events
When it’s time to take a break from your studies, you'll find an amazing variety of campus activities: concerts, workshops, films and lectures by scholars from around the world. We know how to work, but we know how to have fun, too. After all, we invented cheerleading!

Student Groups
Student groups are a great way to find others with common interests, hobbies and goals. Join one or create your own. Make some new friends. Work towards a better world. Be a leader.
